Here our client was renovating a 400 year old manor period house which was controlled by English Heritage. We came along a lot of challenges along the way with the property being so old.
Our client wanted to convert an old bedroom into a family bathroom but the design had to be in keeping with the property.
We designed bespoke heritage beaded wall panelling which we had made to measure then we painted in a Farrow and Ball colour, with wall paper above to give a traditional look.
We had their original free-standing cast iron bath from another bathroom, re-enamelled, and designed a large Matki shower enclosure using small metro tiles and traditional shower fittings.
The focal point of their bathroom was the large free-standing painted vanity unit with marble worktop, which finished the look but created storage for the whole bathroom.
